China Beijing Equity Exchange (CBEX) is the largest Equity Exchange in China, serving as a conduit to the largest Chinese State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) and to more than 4,000 Chinese institutional investors.

Equity Exchanges were established in China with the purpose of facilitating the transparent privatization of assets owned by the State. All equity and asset sales involving SOEs must be conducted via one of four Equity Exchanges. CBEX is the largest of the four, with about 50% of the market share. CBEX has expanded to facilitate the exchange of several categories of assets ranging from commodities to bank portfolios, intellectual properties, or any other valid or tradable assets. The Beijing Olympic Committee has also authorized CBEX to liquidate Olympic assets.

AAEE recognized the need for a standardized information and acquisition platform for businesses and investors from Asia and the Americas, and is working with CBEX and CBEX’s new affiliate in Tokyo, the Japan China Equity Exchange (JCEE) to accomplish this.

AAEE is the exclusive partner of CBEX in North and South America, including the Caribbean region. Projects listed with AAEE are listed on CBEX automatically, and AAEE has the authority to list select CBEX projects deemed of interest to investor clients in these regions. In addition, CBEX shares its extensive connections in China with AAEE, leading to many unique opportunities.
